Stormont Park

Stormont Park offers an adventure playground for the small ones including climbing frames, slides and swings, plus picnic tables and public use BBQs nearby. Ideal for an afternoon playdate! You can find this bit just in from the Upper Newtownards Road entrance.

There are 2 way marked woodland walks to help you explore the park's treasures, one being 4km and one being 2km. They're simply named Short and Long, so even the kids can work it out! And through the year there are often sports competitions, family fun days and charity fundraising events held in the grounds here usually all aimed at families, so it's well worth keeping an eye out for the programming either to join in with gusto or so as to avoid the crowds!

With older kids why not get your educational fix too and take a look at the The Northern Ireland Assembly and Parliament Buildings, which are located on this same Estate.
