Tunnels Beaches - Photo 1

About

Tunnels Beaches were hand carved in the 1820s, these 4 tunnels provide a truly unique experience that's almost guaranteed to excite the kids' imaginations! The local community developed the tunnels by hand and transformed their sleepy spot into a top tourist destination! The tunnels lead down to sandy beaches and a Victorian Tidal Bathing Pool, how exciting for kids to discover if they don't know!

Parents can sit back and admire the lovely rugged scenery while the kids play safely in the shallow pool or grab your nets and explore their fantastic rock pools: they've been rated the 3rd best beach for rock pooling in the UK by BBC Wildlife Magazine! Their indoor and outdoor play facility The Play Hut caters for most age groups and abilities with the usual classic bouncy facilities including ball pools, scramble nets and some awesome slides. There's more outside too for the good weather days, so you're certainly not going to run out of things for them to do!
