Substation Macclesfield is a family-friendly bouldering and fitness centre in the Peak District. With climbing routes set for all ages and abilities, you'll find climbs suitable for all the family. Indoor bouldering is the perfect all-weather activity for kids and families looking for an active day out.

Build confidence, improve fitness and have heaps of fun! As well as a spacious main gym area, our upstairs mezzanine is set specifically for children. With shorter walls and routes designed for little arms and legs, it's the perfect space for young climbers to get the hang of things!

Substation Macclesfield is a short walk from Macclesfield train station. With on-site family parking, baby changing facilities and ramps for pushchair access, climbing has never been so accessible!
