It is certainly not worse. Matting runs quicker when it is damp and cold, and the surface is less punishing on a fall. Runcorn Ski Centre is recorded outdoors so you are still standing in the weather, which means proper waterproofs and gloves rather than a coat over a jumper. Heavy rain or high wind is a different matter and worth a call before you drive.

Superbowl UK Warrington copes with a wide spread of ages, mostly because everybody gets to play the same game badly together. Level Up warrington and Ramp 1 are recorded indoors too and suit an older child after something physical. Not one of the three cares about the sky, which is the point on a day already written off.

Jurassic Cove Adventure Golf is recorded outdoors, and outdoor mini golf is a fair-weather thing in practice whatever a course is able to open. Cold hands and a wet ball make for a short round with young children. In settled weather few things here give you more for less effort, so treat it as a bonus option rather than a plan.

Oakhanger Riding and Pony Club Centre carries indoor and outdoor flags, and for a riding school that flag decides whether a January lesson happens at all. Find out which surface the session uses rather than assuming, and dress the child for standing about as much as for riding, since a good part of a lesson is spent waiting a turn.
