About

St Nicholas Park has something for everyone to enjoy, so it's a great place to take the family and it is free to visit (although there may be a charge for some attractions). The children's play area is great for kids up to about age 12, with a variety of activities designed for differed ages, plus climbing frames, swings, slides and more! It is set next to open lawns, so there is loads of room for activities and games.

There are also plenty of seats, so you can relax as you watch the kids having a blast. The Adventure golf course consists of 18 miniature greens with water and rock hazards on some of them. There is also a 9 hole crazy golf course.

Kids will love the small amusement park for toddlers up to about 12 years old, with rides that work on a token based system. Other activities available in this well kept and appealing parkland include a paddling pool, rides; roundabouts and a train for young children. There is also giant chess, boules.

A basketball station, and an enlarged skate park and BMX track beyond sports hall. The list goes on, with 2 senior football pitches, 2 hard tennis courts, and floodlit Astro turf (bookings 01926 495353). From Easter to September there's also row and motor boating to watch!
