About
Yarak's Bird of Prey is a rural centre which houses approximately 35 birds. This may be a small number but owners believe that this allows them to give excellent care to all of them. This is particularly important for the rescue birds there and the facilities clearly show the emphasis that is placed on their welfare.
There are no fixed displays but they have birds flying throughout the day except during lunchtime. Hands On and Experience Days are available all year round for those who would like to handle or fly the Hawks, Eagles, Owls and Falcons. This is a great opportunity to get up close and personal with the stunning birds and to learn more about them from the friendly and knowledgeable staff If you don't have the extra money for the experiences, you can still watch them being held for others.
The attraction is weather dependent so please contact to check that birds are being flown if the weather is wet or windy.
