Winterton on Sea Beach

Nature fans from all over come here to see seriously adorable seals. During the winter months, mother seals come ashore to give birth to their pups making it a natural wonder not to be missed! Take in the spectacle at Winterton on Sea Beach.

This is a sandy beach with plenty to keep your mini merpeople busy. Water babies can paddle in the shallows or have a properly splashy swim in the sea. It's also a great spot for surfing so if you don’t mind getting wet, have a go at hanging ten!

You could even go all out and hire a beach hut - particularly handy when the rain clouds come a-calling. The promenade would be the perfect spot to do exactly what it says on the tin - promenade! Oh, and the nearest town to the beach is Great Yarmouth.
