About
Winterbourne House and Garden was the former home of the Nettlefold family and the house has been restored to its Arts and Crafts splendour. The exhibition rooms tell the history of the family and their influence on Birmingham's social history. With lots of things to touch and interact with, history comes alive - there's no keep-out rope in sight in the exhibition rooms!
Play dress-up with the costumes and enjoy the interactive train set as it tells you the history of John Nettlefold's impact on Edwardian Birmingham. Education visits can also be booked and there are children's activities available during most school holidays. Winterbourne also offers a year-round programme of family events, so don't miss out!
The garden has over 6,000 plant species from around the world and many other interesting features.
