About
Let your kids feel like real life scientists as they embark on an interactive journey of exploration at Whipple Museum of the History of Science. From as far back as the middle ages to present the collection of scientific instruments and models is so broad your kids will be pro scientists before they know it. They will feel like they have just stepped inside their very own lab, as they learn and discover so many new things.
Stargaze through telescopes, explore the world in the globe gallery or investigate Darwin’s microscope. There’s so much to see and do. The main gallery houses selected larger objects, and it’s Jacobean hammer beam roof dates back all the way to 1618.
Awaiting you upstairs in The Victorian Parlour is an interactive gallery that will evoke exploration and discovery in the whole family. Rummage through drawers, take a look through the stereoscopic viewer or create your own animations. Unleash your inner scientist and head out for a day of interactive learning and discovering.
