Wester Hailes Education Centre

Wester Hailes Education Centre has a wide range of facilities and an extensive leisure and recreation programme that offers a variety of coached and casual activities to suit all ages and ability levels. One of the main features is the Leisure Pool, a 25m (82ft) free form swimming pool, which incorporates a diving pool and a dedicated toddler pool. The diving pool has a 1m springboard and 2m fixed board.

The toddler pool is a great place for your little water babies to improve their water confidence and aquatic skills, plus a little water slide and pool toys to play with. There are programmed times for lane swimming, plus fun floats and pool inflatable sessions, so check online before you visit. There is also a fitness suite, called The Core, which offers Teen Fitness sessions, as well a personal training for adults.

A number of activities are also available for kids, including karate, badminton, gymnastics, trampolining, basketball and more! Due to their popularity, most of these activities will need to be pre-booked. The centre also holds a Junior Holiday Sports Camp during the Easter and Summer school holidays.
