About
As well as being a Site of Special Scientific Interest, this is a bit of a celebrity spot where the famous West Runton elephant fossil was discovered in 1990. Uncover a few more forgotten treasures at West Runton Beach. This is a sandy beach with plenty to keep your mini merpeople busy.
It's also a great spot for surfing so if you don’t mind getting wet, have a go at hanging ten! There are lifeguards on duty which is always welcome news as a parent. Oh, and the nearest town to the beach is Cromer.
A day beside the seaside Dip your toes in the water or have a stroll Be sure to take a family snap!
