About

It's like every kid's dream come true: thousands of toys in a secret underground vintage train station, hidden underneath a new one! The Toy and Model Museum is home to over 10,000 toys including priceless model train collections! There are also several working train layouts you can get a bit closer to.

The enormous toy collection ranges from antique examples through to fairly modern fare of unusual origins, with the general categories being Soft Toys, Construction, Puppets and Dioramas, Dinky/Tri-Ang/Corgi Gallery, and Railway Collections. It's tucked away underneath Brighton Railway Station and also contains a tourist information point, making this a great first stop for a day's exploring and for a refreshing change it's generally as entertaining for the adults as it is for the kids, encountering loads of children friends they'd forgotten. Best efforts are made with disabled access but they request that wheelchair users contact them in advance please.

Good for: all ages, babies toddlers, older children, teenagers, young children
