Welcome to the UK’s first permanent immersive Digital art galley! Opening 13th May 2022, it’ll be an attraction you’ll want to add to your bucket list of adventures. Immersive art spaces are becoming a popular attraction, not just in the UK, but globally.

So, what’s better than adding one in the City of Culture? The 800m2 exhibition space will house a large projection mapping canvas, accompanied by high-quality video projectors and an immersive sound system! So, you’ll feel one with the art.

The first exhibition will be Machine Memoirs: Space, by artist Refik Anadol - it’s also a collaboration with NASA! It uses AI technology to reimagine pictures of space taken by NASA that captures the beauty and magnificence of the world above, even the deepest regions of outer space. By creating gorgeous new digital interpretations of space with a 360-degree cinematic experience - providing futuristic and spectacular visuals, accompanied with 3D audio.

This will be a truly immersive experience that will ‘wow’ all visitors. Take a trip to outer space here!
