About
The Lowry is full of colourful things to see and do. Kids love The Lowry's bright orange staircases, sloping blue floors and purple and glass walls but it also has lots of secret corners waiting to be discovered. Pick up the free Hide and Seek Trail and go on a journey of discovery, or join one of the Family Building Tours on the last Sunday of every month (Free Family Sunday) and Bank Holiday Mondays at 10:30 and 11:30.
In the Galleries, enjoy art by LS Lowry and others in a changing exhibitions programme. Follow the picture clues on the free Art Detectives Trail to help you explore the exhibitions and don't miss the Meet Mr Lowry 20 minute film. Family Corner on The Deck is especially for under 5s to draw, read, play and display their works of art.
The Lowry has 3 theatres with lots of Childrens shows and puppet shows, plus a very popular Christmas pop pant. There is regular weekend art and drama workshops and special holiday activities or courses. Get ready for an extraordinary experience!
