About
The Manchester Museum was the winner of the Lever Prize 2015! Wander round The Manchester Museum's amazing galleries full of treasures from the natural world and many different cultures and you'll give the family a day to remember! Hold artefacts and discover their stories at object-handling tables.
Be inspired, amazed and challenged by temporary exhibitions and changing displays that mean every repeat visit is just as wondrous as the first! Drop into the Museum's Discovery Centre at weekends or during the holidays. Take part in drawing and other art activities or get close to curious objects!
Plus come along to a monthly themed Big Saturdays to join in art activities, object handling, performances, talks and tours. The Manchester Museum is part of The University of Manchester and can be found on the University's Oxford Road campus (in a very impressive gothic style building). It's a wonderful area to explore on foot so allow a little extra time to look around after your visit.
