About
The Dracula Experience offers an entertaining tour through the Dracula story and it's connection to Whitby, using animated scenes, electronic special effects and live actors. It's quite intense in places so best not take any nervous types, but it's also pretty faithful to the original story so those into their literature will have little to object to. It isn't super gory but equally it could be quite disturbing to young kids, please apply consideration to whether your kids would be upset by the play in advance.
If you're not sure then give the good (if slightly creepy) folks at The Experience a shout and get their advice. Please note the Live Actor is only featured during peak times school holidays and group bookings, so time your visit properly if you want the full experience. They also now offer Haunted Nights running from 11pm to 2am which of course are only suitable for much much older types, but may be worth mentioning to your teens if you're staying locally.
