About
Syon Park is a historic gem and has been owned by the same family for a massive 400 years! The house plays host to some stunning artwork and gorgeous grounds, all located just nine miles from Charing Cross. The grounds alone would make a great day out with plenty of walking and discovering to be done.
They boast an Arboretum, lakes and many ancient trees to get lost amongst. They’re also a safe haven for bats, birds, invertebrates and fungi. The main house if full to the brim with history, something you can explore in some of the many staterooms.
Just be sure not to miss Princess Victoria’s bedroom where the Queen spent many of her younger years. Loads of seasonal and special events are held here, like the annual Enchanted Woodland experience or specialist tours like ‘Remembering Pocahontas’. The icing on the cake?
Syon is often used for movie shoots and favourites like Belle and Alice through the Looking Glass had scenes filmed here. See if you can spot where!
