At the Swindon and Cricklade Steam Railway ride upon a fully functioning locomotive. The railway's passenger line offers a round trip of just over 4 miles, ideal jaunt length for kids of all ages! The site also houses a selection of historic rolling stock and steam engines so your genuine chuff heads will not be disappointed and your amateur trainspotters have plenty to learn if they have a mind to.

The exciting new extension to Taw Valley Station (and work in progress aiming at Mouldon Hill park) plus ongoing developments to the catering and hospitality sides mean it's a comfier and more comprehensive day out than ever before! There are also special events on weekends throughout the year including Easter Bunny Rides, plus Halloween and Santa Specials.
