Just outside Nottingham city centre is Stonebridge City Farm. This community project is free to visit and a perfect antidote to city living with its lush gardens, nature walks and access to farm animals. Meet cows, goats, ducks, sheep and ponies and hold bunnies and guinea pigs in the petting barn.
Take a pack lunch if you want to make the most of the open space, or eat in the café. You can buy homegrown fruit and veg in the shop and feed to give to the animals. See nature at its best!
