About

A trip to the charming Screech Owl Sanctuary & Animal Park is a good choice for children of all ages. Not only do they care for and rehabilitate sick owls in Cornwall, but they also promote awareness of the conservation needs of owls so you're combing a really morally worthwhile visit with the fun chance to look at their hooters. They help promote conservation by informing and enabling visitors to interact with a variety of owls from some of the smallest to some of the largest in the world.

Owl talks are held regularly during the day and there is always a friendly member of staff around to tell you fascinating facts and answer any questions. This is a great chance for children to get up close to owls and learn about wildlife conservation. You can also meet and feed the alpacas and goats and learn more about raccoons, lemurs, meerkats storks and wallabies during the daily talks.

Flying displays are held regularly during the day. One to one encounters can be booked with the owls and other animals please see the website for details. Also, there is a fantastic little outdoor adventure play area with equipment including swish slides, climbing features and swings.

That's all right next to the picnic tables so the grown-ups can relax and get the picnic ready for munching on while the children are running about 'owling!
