Sandown Pier - Photo 1

About

Sandown Pier has several angles to it, all them geared toward offering you and yours a classic family fun day! Lost World Adventure Golf takes place amongst the rainforest ruins, where you can experience the light, sound and smoke effects including thunderstorms and live sounding monkeys and lions whilst tackling the cool 11-hole course! Have a word with the smalls before going in, it's a wee bit scary for the tiny ones but once they get their confidence up that the lions aren't going to attack after all they'll love it!

The Magic Island Play Area is a great multi-level physical and imagination play adventure, with sneaky tunnels and ball lagoons, slippery slides and more besides. Plenty to keep the kids running, jumping hiding and - generally - shrieking with joy! There's also the Ten Pin Bowling and The End of the Pier is open from Easter onward with classic family rides including Dodgems, Snake Slide, Ball Walkers, Quad Bikes and Tea Cups.

With the rides outside and the rest inside it's a relatively weather proof day out offering as it does options in either direction. You can picnic in the amusement area on the benches if you like but there are several different family dining options if you don't fancy toting the grub bag, again with inside and outside options.
