About
Baron Haugh Nature Reserve offers you a glimpse at a wondrous wildlife haven on the banks of the Clyde. Spend some time in one of their four hides, looking out at the ducks and swans on the haugh. You can take a walk through the woods, and if you're lucky you may hear the woodpeckers and nuthatches.
If you visit in Winter you can see the whooper swans feeding on the flooded meadows. Don't forget to look out for the kingfishers, and you may even spot an otter on the river! Sparrowhawks and buzzards are often to be seen on sunny, late winter mornings!
A perfect spot to take in the beautiful wildlife of Scotland.
