Riverside Park Newark

Riverside Park is the local community venue for a wide range of regular family oriented events, from music concerts to food fairs, funfairs to duck races and also contains a number of pieces of public art for the kids to discover as they explore, including a gnomon sundial! Near to the Riverside Park isLockside Park Sensory Garden which overlooks Newark's picturesque town lock. With a charming range of really tactile and strongly perfumed plants, a fountain and soothing background music, Lockside Sensory Gardens are a perfect place to relax and watch the world go by, especially with children and folks with special needs or sensory impairments of all ages.
