NEW FOR 2024: Gruffalo Party Trail! Wyre Forest is the largest woodland National Nature Reserve in the country and can be found to the west of Birmingham. With over 1000 years of history, this forest has plenty of ancient woodlands to explore through a wide variety of fun family activities.
Whether you want to rent a bike and take up family cycling, climb the treetops at Go Ape or reconnect with yourself during a yoga session, there's lots to do in this beautiful forest. Accessibility If you have limited mobility you'll be happy to know this forest has trampers available to hire! A tramper is an outdoor mobility scooter that is suitable for forest trails so you can explore the full extent of woodland on offer. There are Sensory Walks available, just download the Making Walks Sensory toolkit.
There is level access from the main entrance to the accessible toilets, The Forest Cafe, play area, and the picnic area. Accessible car parking spaces less than 50m from the entrance.
