About

Spend half a day with the family at World of Owls - a lovely owl sanctuary at Randalstown Forest. Explore indoor and outdoor birds of prey displays, nature walks and see lots, and LOTS of owls. Your kids will be fully entertained coming up-close with all the different types of owls - World of Owls owns one of the largest collections in the UK.

You’ll also come across other birds of prey, including eagles, hawks, falcons and vultures. There are some farm regulars like geese, ducks, chickens and turkeys to be spotted too. Up for a walk?

You can even catch a glimpse of deer and rabbits in the forest. Don’t expect a fancy zoo with lots of owl merchandise. World of Owls is a much more natural place - it’s charity-funded and the money’s spent on the wellbeing of the animals.

Most of the feathery residents have been rescued, so take the time to hear some of their unique stories. The staff are very friendly and helpful, so any owl questions you may have, they’ll be happy to answer. One of UK’s largest collections of Owls Northern Ireland’s only Owl, Bird of Prey & Exotic Animal Centre Focus on the birds & not on the merch!
