Wingham Wildlife Park

After starting life as a Wingham Bird Park in 1986, Wingham Wildlife Park really spread its wings under new owners in 2008 to become one of Kent’s most popular attractions! Located just outside the cathedral city of Canterbury, they have the largest number of animal species in all the wildlife parks and zoos in Kent. The Animals Now this family-owned park houses an array of animals, big and small! Winged and wingless, so there's an animal out there for everyone! Let's start off with the big animals - moon bears, and black bears visit the Chimp House and observe western chimpanzees, find the adorable red panda, goggle at the majestic tiger, and admire the mischievous meerkats - plus there's so many more animal exhibits to discover!

But that's not all! There is also a huge variety of coated otters, Eurasian wolves, lemurs, squirrel monkeys, dwarf crocodiles and penguins too, animals from all different landscapes and environments. It’s most definitely a walk on the wild side! You'll be able to learn more about the pre-historic beasts, like the Triceratops, Diplodocus, Spinosaurus, Velociraptor and so many more unique and interesting dinosaurs that will make you roar with excitement! Spend up to 20 minutes with giraffes and other animals, as you feed them treats and see them up close and personal.
