Things To Do Willen Lake is more than just a lake; it’s a beautiful park that offers something for everyone. Spread across 180 acres, this stunning location is split into two lakes: North Lake and South Lake. The lush greenery, serene waters, and well-maintained paths make it an ideal spot for a leisurely stroll or a picnic with family.

Their list of activities is impressive and includes - deep breath - kayaking, power boating, stand-up paddleboarding, windsurfing, and open swimming. All the necessary equipment is provided or can be hired for family use. You can even hire a Pedalo to sail around the lake.

They have different themed pedaloes including flamingos, cars, dragons and swans! The site is also home to one of the largest outdoor splash parks in the UK, the state-of-the-art 'Splash 'n' Play'. They even run dedicated SEN sessions in the splash park!

If your webbed toes haven’t developed just yet, there’s more than enough to keep you busy in the surrounding parkland. For instance, take in the views via segway, sharpen your archery skills or master a balancing act up on the Treetop Extreme high ropes course. There are also plenty of waking trails for you to try as well!

There's also a 36-metre-tall observation wheel near the lake! You'll be able to see the most breathtaking views of the lake and the surrounding environment. It's well worth checking out!
