About

The 25 acres of Wallace Park are fuller of features than ever before, with new additions including a contemporary Soccer Pavilion and floodlit Tennis Courts! But the really exciting bit is the new adventure playground: now the region's flagship play park, the kids' area combines traditional play concepts with state of the art equipment for an easily accessible yet entertainingly challenging experience! Equipment suitable for age range 2 years to 10 years, though no formal caps.

There is also a Duck Pond here, but this area is currently being physically improved so by all means take along your old bread but don't set your hearts on it… Perhaps best to saunter casually round the nature walks and produce your old rolls as a bonus should you happen to encounter any quackers! The path system is being improved but currently access is unimpaired and the existing hard flat surfacing is quite fine for biking and scootering or just strolling with a pushchair. On roller skates if you like!

Good for: all ages, babies toddlers, older children, teenagers, young children
