Vogrie Country Park

Vogrie Country Park is a great location for outdoor activities such as picnics, walking and wildlife-spotting. There is an adventure play area and toddler's play park, plus a miniature railway open on Sunday afternoons in summer. Vogrie offers visitors a chance to enjoy nature in a unique and very special setting.

5 miles of way-marked woodland walks of varying lengths and you might see some horse-riders pass on the trail ride through the park. You can book a barbeque or a round of golf, and there are often dog agility competitions or other activities to watch on our events field. There is an amazing variety of flora and fauna to find at Vogrie.

Free resource boxes are available from the Ranger Service, full of useful equipment to pond-dip, mini-beast hunt or to explore the nature of the park, you might spot a woodpecker, stoat or frog whilst you walk among the trees, wildflowers or ponds. Whether you simply want to relax or try something a bit more active, Vogrie is the perfect place for your day out.
