Tumbles at Portobello

Tumbles at Portobello is a Gymnastics and soft play centre situated right on the beach along the main Portobello Promenade with views across the Firth of Forth. Taking inspiration from the fabulous gymnastics facilities, Tumbles has a sports and activity theme, along with a range of features that incorporate balance and activity. The infant area has a climb, step and mini-slide, ball pool, toys and sensory features to engage all children up to 11 months old.

The toddler area (1-4 years) is packed with activities for those that are just getting mobile. There is a large ball pool, spiders web, obstacle bags, 2-lane astra slide, little Hercules weight lifter, log ramp, hanging snakes and medallists podium. The junior zone (5-10 years) has a vast range of activity options, with the wow factor provided by the dramatic 4-lane astra slide that drops from the full 6m+ height of the frame.

Other features include a Sports Zone, which is clearly visible from the cafe, a foam ball cannon, sky glide that overlooks the gymnastics arena, cargo nets, hang tough, long jump, shot putt, giant pyramid vault, dizzy disc, never-ending spiral slide, zig-zag maze run, crawl tube. Tumbles includes Cafe Refresh located on the mezzanine level with fantastic views of Portobello promenade and beach.
