Keeping your kids active is easy at Thornes Clarence Park. With 60 hectares of open space to explore there is plenty of fun to be had. In the skate park budding skateboarders can perfect their tricks, the miniature steam railway is great for train enthusiasts, plus there are plenty of activities to get involved in, including tennis courts and pitch and putt.

If it’s more of a relaxed day you’re after then take a stroll round the duck lake and aviary or listen to some music at the Clarence Park Bandstand, which is host to regular events and great entertainment for all the family. The Stork Lodge Cafe provides some great refreshments when you need a well deserved rest. A perfect summer’s day out!
