Set in a stunning park area in the heart of Rossendale Valley, The Whitaker (previously Rossendale Museum & Art Gallery) is a local Lancashire gem where you can easily spend a few fun hours with the kids. For one, the animals in the taxidermy display are always a hit with the youngsters! Interested in learning?

The Whitaker museum is surrounded by wonderful woodlands for you to explore, plus, there’s a kids’ play area, perfect for outdoor fun. Tired out & hungry? The museum has a lovely cafe on site where you can relax and enjoy a healthy meal with the little ones.
