About
The Carrs Park is a popular park following the Bollin River with a circular walk of around a mile, plenty of paddling opportunities and a well equipped playground for toddlers through to teens. The playground has swings, climbing structures, slides and some unusual seesaws. It's located next to the car park on Chancel Lane where you can also often find an ice cream van for refreshments.
There is also a skateboard and football park, a basketball ring and free tennis courts! So loads to do if you're up for it all, plus of course you can picnic, go on a mini beast safari, take bats and balls and kites and frisbees and cameras and sketchpads and alright maybe not all of that, but that's the joy of a day at the park, you can pretty much make it whatever you want it to be and it's free! Huzzah!
