About
Sywell Country Park offers meadowland and lakeside walks, with a small arboretum of exotic trees and Edwardian buildings still surviving from its past role as a water supply reservoir with a water works heritage trail to guide you round. There's a neat little Brockwood Woodland themed children's play area provided, and separate sand and water play areas, plus open spaces for ball games and dog walking. Cycling is not permitted within the Park.
You can also visit the Amphibian Pond which has an accessible board walk from which you can spot loads of dragonflies, frogs and newts and Pond Dipping sessions are run during holidays so you can have a little explore below water level too! Follow the Water Works Heritage Trail, explore the butterfly garden or purchase a fishing ticket and catch some tench in the coarse fishery! Absolutely loads to do, especially if you bring a long a picnic or add in a trip to the Pump House Cafe.
