Swanage Beach Facing east the bay is normally calm and sheltered and good for swimming, sailing and scuba diving. There are no lifeguards but they have beach wardens during the summer. Local entertainment includes a variety of water sports, fishing, crazy golf, boat charters and seasonal punch and Judy shows; while immediate facilities comprise toilets with disabled facility, several cafes and restaurants, a first aid point and a lost child centre. Dogs welcome between October and April.
