About

Sutton On Sea Beach is set beside the bigger, better known resort of Mablethorpe this is a bit of a hidden secret. It's a traditional, old fashioned seaside town with wide, clean, golden sands that are perfect for beach rounders, picnicking, making sandcastles and catching flatfish, crabs and shrimps. The beach is rarely crowded and swimming is safe so long as one avoids the groynes.

Lifeguard cover is June to September. Local facilities are excellent from the basics like toilets and first aid post to the Pleasure Gardens which include paddling pool, crazy golf, tennis and tea rooms. Sutton on Sea and nearby Mablethorpe have been awarded the Blue Flag for clean beaches.

Beach Chalets are available to rent which are a good places to relax in the shade and have a brew up when you feel like it.

Good for: all ages, babies toddlers, older children, teenagers, young children
