Strathclyde Country Park 400 hectares of countryside in the valley of the River Clyde surrounding Strathclyde Loch as the focal point for water and land based activities and including a miniature train to ride. The watersports centre at the Loch offers enthusiasts and amateurs lots of water-based fun including rowing, windsurfing, dinghy sailing, canoeing, water ski-ing, pedalos, bumper boats, boat trips, wavebobs and canadian canoes. If you prefer to stay dry, there are football pitches, jogging tracks, coarse angling permits available for the loch, rivers and ponds, horse riding permits available for 7 miles of bridle paths, wayfaring and competitive orienteering - 3 different courses, cross country running, mountain bikes for hire, and lots of walks to enjoy.

Kids will also love the miniature train and the childrens play area.
