Scottish Maritime Museum- Dumbarton is a hands-on maritime museum where you can see the world first commercial ship model experiment tank, enter a ship designers office and find out how to design your own ship, take a guided tour of the building, test different hull designs in the mini experiment tank with its own wave making machine and try smoothing and carving a real wax hull model.
