About

🐝 Looking for a fun and educational school holiday activity in London? Our Kids’ Honey Harvest Workshop is the perfect addition to your child’s holiday calendar. Bees play a crucial role in our planet’s ecosystem—but does your child know why?

This hands-on children’s bee and honey workshop gives kids the chance to learn about bees, pollination, and honey production while enjoying a unique, interactive experience. Suitable for children aged 7+, and located just a 10-minute walk from London Bridge station, this workshop is ideal for families searching for memorable things to do in London with kids. 🐝 What to Expect Our experienced Hiver Bee Team—specialists with over 10 years in beekeeping and honey production—will kick off the session with an engaging introduction to bees, their life cycle, and the importance of pollinators.

Children will then get hands-on with real equipment as they uncap wax from a fresh honeycomb, taste raw honey straight from the hive, and load the frames into the spinner to extract their very own honey. While the honey is spinning, kids will explore other natural hive by-products, including beeswax, and even make their own wax candle to take home. )—becoming a certified honey harvester by the end of the workshop.

🐝 A Relaxed Space for Parents While the kids enjoy their educational bee workshop, parents are welcome to join in or unwind next door in our Hiver Taproom. Enjoy a coffee, beer, or wine, or take advantage of a quiet corner to catch up on remote work. We promise your children will return buzzing—but not too sticky!

🐝 About Hiver Hiver began in 2013 after our Founder Hannah, went along to a honey tasting in Bermondsey. After asking if she could help out, she found herself bizarrely on the roof of the Tate Britain, helping to inspect a beehive. '.

She started researching all things bees and beekeeping and, as she already worked in the brewing industry, she started tasting some honey beers too. And so the idea for Hiver came about! What started as a honey beer brand has transformed into a business that is all about celebrating bees through honey drinks, buzzing venues and 5 star experiences.

All of our products are made from locally sourced ingredients, we support British beekeepers through purchase and we pledge 10% of profits to pollinator charities. So not only do we talk the talk, we walk the walk! We hope that every person who walks through our doors will leave with a new appreciation for our buzzing besties...

and with the bee friendly free seeds that you receive with every experience, you'll be able to get planting too! We can't wait to welcome you to our Honey Harvest - the chance to get hands on and help our BEEst friends!
