This interactive science and arts centre is a top destination for families, offering a unique blend of hands-on activities, engaging exhibits, and inspiring experiences that make learning fun for kids and adults alike.

Things To Do at We The Curious Discover two floors brimming with interactive exhibits, trips to the stars in the UK's only 3D Planetarium, the intriguing 'Project What If' exhibition and an exciting programme of activities and experiments delivered by the Live Science Team. Interactive Exhibits One of the main attractions at We The Curious is its wide array of interactive exhibits. These exhibits cover all sorts of topics, from space exploration to the wonders of the human body, so there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Kids can get hands-on with experiments, explore the mysteries of the universe in the Planetarium, and even create their own animations. These interactive experiences make learning fun and memorable, helping children develop a love for science and art from a young age. For little ones, there’s science-themed storytelling, the 'Build-It' construction area complete with hard hats and a roof to tile, and the chance to meet a friendly alien in the Planetarium show ‘Spin the Spaceship’.

The Planetarium Take a seat in the planetarium for a trip to the stars and back as you're transported to the far reaches of the universe. Whether you're learning about the stars, planets, or the latest space missions, the planetarium's immersive experience is sure to leave you and your family in awe. The shows are designed to be engaging for all ages, making it a perfect family activity.

More Curious Activities Meet the Live Science Team, who run creative activities and experiments around the building, including in the working kitchen and greenhouse. Downstairs, you can explore time, space, and happiness in the intriguing 'Project What If' exhibition, which is inspired by people’s questions about the world around us. See how it feels to turn invisible, chat with the resident robot and explore why rainbows make you happy.

Upstairs is full of light, sound and creating sensory experiences with giant bubbles, wobbly mirrors and a walk through a tornado. Discover the magic of animation inspired by your favourite Aardman characters, solve giant puzzles, build ball runs, play with illusions, and investigate how our brains and bodies work together.
